Over the past few years, each time Mrs Nene decides to take a break from motherhood and sign the odd film, it invariably gets touted as the actress’s big comeback. Unluckily, barring Dil Toh Pagal Hai and Devdas, films like Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke, Lajja and Aaja Nachle have proved to be damp squibs.
Aaja Nachle- the most hyped of the dancing divas many comebacks- centred on Madhuri’s strong point and couldn’t do much for the Yash Raj banner despite of that.
But that’s not stopping filmmakers from trying to rope in the beauty for their future projects. The latest to have achieved the feat is Meghna Gulzar. Madhuri will soon be seen experimenting with her funny side in the film ‘36-24-36’. Although, not much about the film has been revealed, sources say the Meghna-Madhuri venture is going to be a full fledged comedy.
Madhuri will be seen in a light headed avatar this time around. A welcome change from the intense characters she’s been portraying lately. Let’s hope Mads’ light headedness stays on after the completion of the film too, considering the box office response to her films in recent times.
